About Glasgow Life - Sport

Glasgow Life - Sport deliver and enable activities to Get Glasgow Active.

Glasgow Life - Sport is dedicated to all levels of sport and physical activity in Glasgow. We manage 22 Glasgow Clubs, 12 Swimming pools, public tennis/ bowls facilities and numerous football venues across the city.

We deliver activities across various sports including swimming, football and tennis amongst others.

In addition to this we work in partnership with hundreds of community organisations to develop physical activity and sports that help people get active an stay active.

We want to support everyone to Live an Active Glasgow Life.

The training will provide you with the knowledge on child wellbeing and protection that will give you the confidence to deal with issues that may arise in your role working with children. The Sports Injury First Aid course provides knowledge and information regarding Emergency First Aid with a focus upon sport injuries. Our qualified tutor will cover basic life support and illness management topics found upon most first aid courses and includes key sports topics such as return to play decisions, managing specialist sports injuries, when to and not to use ice, and other sports specific first aid treatments. This course has been created for the coach, team/ club first aider, club official or other adult involved with the club who wishes to enhance their first aid knowledge.

Social Tennis

This is mixed tennis session for adults of all abilities. Led by one of our qualified tennis coaches, players are organised into to teams for fun, and sometimes serious, match play tennis.
