About Digital Content & Communications Officer
The role will be responsible for creating digital content to inspire and engage new players to the sport, support the engagement of existing members, celebrate the achievements of our domestic leagues, and shine a spotlight on the international success of our GB teams.
The role will include regular weekend and out of hours working with the potential for UK and overseas travel.
Main responsibilities
- Plan and execute content generation across a variety of digital platforms, including all major social media channels, web and email.
- Develop and lead on the digital content plan with the Marketing and Communications Manager.
- Responsible for creating engaging and informative content around our sport, including domestic leagues, recreational activities, and performance squads.
- Use domestic, national and international events to showcase the sport.
- Drive engagement with all key stakeholders, including commercial partners, the playing community and other stakeholders.
- Working with the Marketing and Communications Manager, provide digital design support for the organisation as well as working with external agencies and providers.
- Evidence success through analytics reports.
- Work collaboratively with the wider BWB team to ensure that all key events, messaging, and campaigns are supported through digital communications.
- Lead the development and adoption of best practice in the adoption of new technologies.
- Support the Marketing and Communications Manager with media requests, including attending media briefing events and activities.
