The FA's Grassroots Division is looking for a National Development Manager - Volunteering to: Align volunteer development with the FA Thriving Community Clubs strategic goals to ensure maximum impact. Empower England Accredited Clubs to grow and develop a thriving volunteer network by developing resources, training, and reward programmes. Empower clubs to attract and retain diverse volunteers to tackle inequalities and foster inclusion. To ensure the FA Youth Council informs and influences the inclusion of U25s into grassroots clubs. To support campaigns and events that celebrate the impact of volunteers.

What will you be doing?Results Orientation and Visionary Thinking
- Lead volunteer development plans for all 2 & 3 star England Accredited Clubs.
- Be relentless in the search for knowledge and understanding of the issues and develop resources and interventions to empower clubs to grow their volunteer base.
- Develop improve the satisfaction and diversity of volunteers.
- Ensure our interventions and programmes are relevant, cutting edge, impactful and responsive to the changing needs of the football population and that the 'voice' of young people and adults is heard in the design of new solutions
- Develop creative solutions to remove the barriers or exploit the opportunities that exist in grassroots football volunteering
- Provide guidance and training for clubs to implement strategies to attract volunteers from diverse backgrounds, fostering inclusivity within clubs.
- Support the development of interventions, resources, training materials and be responsible for undertaking effective piloting of new volunteer programmes, ensuring alignment with the Grassroots strategy.
- Support the delivery of training interventions for grassroots volunteers and CFA staff and FA Youth Council network.
