About Whitehill Swimming Club
Whitehill Swimming Club meets at Whitehill Pool on Mondays & Thursdays from 6pm catering for beginners.
Learner Section (from age 5 years) – for beginners / improvers
This Section is a very popular part of the Club and places are in demand. Following an assessment, people may be placed on a waiting list if there are no spaces currently free for their level of ability. The Club operates a national Learn to Swim programme with Levels 1 - 4.
Junior Members (under 16 years of age)
Learner Members who have completed Level 4 are transferred to the Main Pool Management Scheme and become Junior Members. Focus for Junior Members is coaching to refine and improve upon their swimming skills, increase stamina and establishing personal best times.
Senior Members (Over 16 years of age)
Experienced swimmers or swimmers wishing to learn or improve their skills and personal fitness.
Adult Swimmers
Activity is presently limited to swimmers with the ability to train using most of the main swimming strokes.
