Upstarts is a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), providing artistic gymnastics activities for boys and girls of all ages. We offer early years through to teens, at all levels from recreational participation to a variety of competitive opportunities.

At Upstarts we like to give children the opportunity to reach their potential in gymnastics, with fun and a safe environment at the heart of our provision.

Operating at a dedicated facility in Hathern, Loughborough, we offer excellent coach to gymnast ratios to give the greatest experience and engagement for our gymnasts.

We are proud to offer a Young Leader programme for our older gymnasts, to learn about all aspects of volunteering within the sport, from coaching and judging to event support and organisation.

Our links to Loughborough University supports the mentoring of aspiring coaches and provision of coaching opportunities for students. We also provide employment for qualified coaches and provide a pathway to those qualifications for people who enjoy coaching or those wishing to have a career in gymnastics.

Upstarts Gymnastics Club holds 'GymMark', the Sport England ClubMark standards accreditation scheme, and all our coaches are members of British Gymnastics and hold DBS Enhanced checks.
