Scotstoun Badminton Club have over eighty members between the ages of 6 and 17. Members are split across three sessions for 6-9, 10-12 and 10-17 year olds.

The club meet on Friday evenings with coaching blocks and small-group lessons on Sundays from 4pm - 6pm.

The club's annual membership fee has remained unchanged for over a decade at £15, despite the fact that it was originally the cost of a tube of shuttles, which now costs £21. Even with a significant increase of 23% in court costs (£3000), the fee for the upcoming year 2023-24 remains fixed at £15.

Badminton Scotland, our governing body, requires an annual membership fee of £10 for junior players, just like other sports. This fee is crucial in supporting the club and the good work that Badminton Scotland does. It is mandatory for players to join Badminton Scotland. However, if you are already a member through another club, Glasgow School of Sport, the regional performance squad (which includes membership), or as an individual, please don't pay twice.
