About Barcapel Foundation
The Barcapel Foundation offers funding to organisations with registered charitable status in Scotland.
The funding is intended to support charitable organisations undertaking projects in the following areas:
- Health, including:
- Complementary medicine.
- Mental health.
- Heritage, including:
- The built environment.
- Cultural heritage, including literature and art.
- Youth
- Areas of development for young people, especially those from socially disadvantaged backgrounds.
The Trustees meet twice yearly (in May and November) to consider applications.
Preliminary application forms are available to download from the website and should be completed and submitted in hard copy to the Barcapel Foundation with a covering letter and a copy of the organisation's annual accounts. Applicants should note that Barcapel does not accept grant applications by email.
If the application is likely to be successful, the Foundation will then contact the applicant requesting further information.
