Our qualified tutor will cover basic life support and illness management topics found upon most first aid courses and includes key sports topics such as return to play decisions, managing specialist sports injuries, when to and not to use ice, and other sports specific first aid treatments. This course has been created for the coach, team/ club first aider, club official or other adult involved with the club who wishes to enhance their first aid knowledge.

The Level 3 Combined Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA)/Emergency First Aid at
Work (EFAW) qualification encompasses CPR and first aid skills,
to address various injuries and illnesses in adults and children.
This course delivers essential CPR and first aid skills for a safe working
environment, catering to the needs of different age groups.
The Combined EPFA and EFAW course spans seven hours minimising the number
of direct training hours from two days providing candidates with the skills and knowledge to achieve both
qualifications.
They are Ofqual accredited and valid for three years, suitable for
various industries and helping you comply with HSE requirements.

You will be able to: identify good coaching practice and the implications for your coaching, explore your values in relation to child abuse and note their potential impact on your response, recognise and respond to possible signs of child abuse and take appropriate action if concerns about a child arise.
