About Glasgow Rowing Club
Glasgow Rowing Club is located on Silverfir Street in the Gorbals on the south bank of the river.
The club was founded in 1983 and has flourished into one of the most successful rowing clubs in Scotland. We specialise in taking complete beginners and transforming them into international rowers.
We also have a social rowing group who row every Saturday and have a healthy 'Learn to Row' programme for beginners of all ages.
Our boats range from the single scull, to pairs, doubles, fours, quads and eights.
We're keen to encourage people from the local community to come down to Glasgow Rowing Club and try out our facilities.
