Activity Information
The Vanguard Centre is a converted railway arch near Glasgow city centre which is well-situated and easy to reach. We offer regular classes and events for Archery, Historical European Martial Arts and seminars for other activities.
Our indoor archery range in Glasgow is suitable for beginners, and for ages 12+. We can guide you through your first steps learning how to use a bow, and can coach you to become more successful at putting your arrows into the target.
We have a variety of bows that you can borrow, and more experienced practitioners are welcome to bring your own equipment for use (the instructor must look over it first to ensure it is safe for use), with a maximum draw limit of 50 lbs.
For classes marked "12+", teenagers aged 16-17 are welcome to attend without needing a parent or guardian in accompaniment, although people aged 12-15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
